Description

Alien: Isolation is a survival horror game (in first person view) released in 2014, developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

The game takes place 15 years after the original 1979 movie and follows engineer Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Ellen Ripley. Amanda investigates the disappearance of her mother, aboard the Sevastopol space station, which is in disarray due to years of negligence and the threat of a xenomorph.

The game is very faithful to Alien 1, particularly in the faithful reproduction of computers and equipment similar to those in the film.

The game emphasizes stealth and horror, requiring the player to avoid, outwit, and fight various enemies using a diverse arsenal (xenomorph, synthetics, humans).

Personaly, I find it terrifying ! I've played it in ultra wide, alone, in the dark, with a surround headset. I also know there is a VR mod (MotherVR) but I didn't have a VR headset to test it.

Anyways, it's a excellent horror game, although sometimes a little repetitive, I highly recommend playing it.
